Q245b carbon steel rod/bar
Q245b is an ordinary carbon structural steel with a yield strength of 245 MPa, which belongs to semi-killed steel.
The carbon content is about 0.05% to 0.70%, and some can be as high as 0.90%. It can be divided into two types: ordinary carbon structural steel and high-quality carbon structural steel. There are many uses and a large amount of use. It is mainly used in railways, bridges, and various construction projects to manufacture various metal components that bear static loads, as well as unimportant mechanical parts that do not require heat treatment and general weldments.

Carbons Steel Rod Bar
After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and the compressive strength can reach 1100-1300mpa (160-190ksi). This grade cannot be used at temperatures higher than 300 ℃ (570f) or very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to atmosphere and diluted acid or salt. Its corrosion resistance is the same as that of 304 and 430.
